FAQ

Things people ask us

Will you contact me about loans if I write to you?

No. We reply to your question and do nothing else with your message. We do not market loans and we pass nothing to lenders.

What is the difference between a fixed and a variable rate?

A fixed rate stays the same for the period stated, which makes payments predictable. A variable rate can move, so payments or the term may change.

Why should I read the whole agreement?

Because the details that decide your costs and rights sit in the sections people skip. A few quiet minutes with the full text can prevent months of regret.

Could a loan affect my ability to get other credit?

It can. A new loan adds to your commitments and shows on your file, and lenders may take it into account when you apply for something else.

What should I do before agreeing to a joint loan?

Talk openly with the other person about who will pay what and what happens if circumstances change. Both signers are normally responsible, so trust and clarity matter.
